ការប្រគួតសំណេរសម្រាប់យុវជនកម្ពុជា

Personally, I don’t like writing since I was born. Until now I can see that I’m more interested in writing. I found that writing is fun because it can express our own feelings through writing. Every single word and phrase in a piece of writing can represent so many things. But to improve my writing skills, I have joined this competition to submit my essay. This is the first opportunity in my grade 10. All of the writing must write on a theme of “A Dream I Want to Make”. “Even though Cambodia is still regarded as one of the developing countries, as Cambodians, it is our vision to transform Cambodia to one of the modern societies in the next few decades. Thus, for this goal to be accomplished, considering your role as a potential citizen of Cambodia, please identify ONE thing that you are willing to develop/improve to contribute to the bettering of our community and our country. Can you elaborate further on how you can make the change? Please  express or describe your visions for the future of our society by providing concrete explanations on how your ideas can be transform into reality.”

At first, I was struggling with finding what I want to write. But then, I found one problem. Most of the students in Cambodia right now don’t really know about all of the famous people in the past in Cambodia such as actors, singers, dancers, songwriters, and more. That is why I came up with this idea to create an app that contains all of the information of each one of them including background info, what they have made, and how they changed Cambodia. Although it is made for students, others can use it as well such as historians, teachers, and more.

If I won’t be able to make it into an app, at least this essay will reveal the problems that students and other people are facing right now in Cambodia. Also, if we don’t gather all of the information about each of them, soon, all of that information will go forever and the next generations won’t know and can’t learn about them. This is why we should do something to it. Overall, it was worth it to join. And I hope that this competition will happen every year.
